FAQ

Is there an official route?
Vollgummi is a free route event. It means that you will have to plan your own route passing trough the mandatory checkpoints.

What kind of bike can I take?
You can choose your route and the bike you want, as long as it is not an e-bike. We recommend 28 wheels as one of the checkpoints (Scheltenpass) is not on a paved road. You will have to ride for at least 1.5 km on a gravel road.

Is there a tracking?
Yes, each rider will get a tracking device for the event. Your friends and family can follow you online.

Is there an official time limit?
The finisher party will take place on Sunday afternoon, the official time limit is on Sunday, August 13 at 20:00h. If you need more time, it's not a big deal and you can just drop your tracker in our mailbox.

Can I stay in a hotel?
Yes, you can choose the type of accommodation you want as long as it is publicly available. No accomodation at friends or at home.

What if I have a mechanical problem?
Try to fix it yourself. In case somebody offers you help, you are allowed to accept it. If you need a mechanic, you can use any possible means of transport, but you have to return exactly to the place you left the route.
